Lois S. Gindling

Geneva; Lois S. Gindling, age 76 of Cornwall Road passed away on Sunday November 8, 2015 at home.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday (Nov. 11) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will be held on Thursday (Nov. 12) at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church 520 S. Main St. Geneva. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Ontario-Yates Hospice 756 Pre Emption Rd. Geneva, NY 14456.

Lois was born on October 2, 1939 on Norfolk, VA the daughter of the late William and Bela Sokovitch Small. She retired from Yates County Community Services in Penn Yan in 2010.

Lois was a member of Trinity Church, Geneva Country Club and the Seneca Yacht Club where she served on the Race Committee for 40 years.

She is survived by her husband Paul; children, Liz (William) Dean of Geneva and James (Cheryl) Gindling of Victor; grandchildren, Sara (Pete Saloney) Dean, Laura Dean, William (Grace) Dean III, Erica Dean, Joseph Dean, Hannah Dean, and Nicole Gindling; several nieces and nephews.

Lois was predeceased besides her parents by her brother James Small.
