Geneva; Charles A. Turturro, age 74 of Geneva passed away on Wednesday April 20, 2016 at the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua.

Family and friends may call on from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday (April 22) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St., Geneva. Members of the Nester Hose Company will meet at 6:00 p.m. and members of the American Legion will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home for services. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (April 23) at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home and 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be made to VA Medical Center Hospice Services 400 Fort Hill Ave. Canandaigua, NY 14424.

Chuck was born on August 8, 1941 in Rochester the son of the late Frank and Mary Hickey Turturro. He graduated from DeSales High School and R.I.T. Chuck served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and retired after many years working in Rochester at Kodak and Xerox.

Chuck is a member of St. Stephen’s Church, life member of the Nester Hose Company of the Geneva Fire Department and American Legion Winnek post 396. Chuck was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed playing golf at Big Oak and playing cards at the American Legion.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Linda Maher Turturro; sons, Frank A. (Katherine) Turturro of Geneva, Chuck (Margaret) Turturro of Geneva, William J. (Lisa) Turturro of Fairport; grandchildren, Jane and Andrew, Sophia and Jacob, Nicholas and Olivia; siblings, Mary Ann (Frank) Pane of Geneva, Joan Sweeney of Geneva, John (Maureen) Turturro of Victor, Kathryn (Dominick) Vedora of Geneva, Susan (John) Presutti of Chicago; several nieces and nephews.

Chuck was predeceased by a brother-in-law, William R. Sweeney.
