Geneva/Syracuse; James P. Brandenburg, age 27 passed away on Sunday January 3, 2016 in Brooklyn, NY
Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 19) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Jimmy was born on August 26, 1988 in Lawton, OK the son of Phillip Brandenburg and Valorie Van Alstyne. He graduated from Southview Senior High School in Hope Mills, NC and attended Fayetteville State College in North Carolina. Jimmy was presently the Manager of Boost Mobile in Syracuse. He was a volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club in Syracuse. Jimmy enjoyed skateboarding and electronics and was always looked at as a leader. He was always organized and well dressed, it was always said he could make a rock laugh.

Jimmy is survived by his mother, Valorie Val Alstyne of Syracuse; father, Phillip Brandenburg, Sr. of Lawton, OK; sister, Marchea Delige of Fayetteville, NC; brother, Phillip Brandenburg, Jr. of Westchester, NY; maternal grandmother, Barbara Williams of Arizona; grandfathers, William Van Alstyne of Florida, David Lee Williams of Geneva; aunts & uncles, Kim Van Alstyne of Arizona, Lynee Burney of Syracuse, Lee Williams of Arizona, John Williams of Arizona, Alesia (Monroe) Whitacker of Arizona; nieces & nephews, Faith Delige, Moses Weaks, Jr., Aaron Weaks; several great uncles & great aunts; a host of cousins and many friends.
He was predeceased by uncle, Brian Frank; great grandparents, Lionel & Marie Frank.
