Geneva; Nicolina C. “Nickie” Cole, age 76 of Geneva passed away on Wednesday October 22, 2014 at Geneva General Hospital surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with breast cancer. With faith and determination, she fought for 12 years.

Family and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Saturday (Oct. 25) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will follow at 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis deSales Roman Church. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Nickie was born on July 15, 1938 in Geneva the daughter of the late Ralph and Edvidge Guillo Natelli.

She was a member of St. Francis Church. As an avid homemaker Nickie especially enjoyed cooking Sunday dinner for her family. She was very fond of her daughters, and most importantly her grandchildren. Nickie enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports and watch her only granddaughter perform at dance recitals. When she wasn’t taking a ride with her husband, you could find Nickie watching the YANKEES. Nickie also enjoyed the company of their close friends, Joe and Arlene, especially “Friday Nights”.

Nickie is survived by her husband of 54 years, Kirk “Tom” Cole; her daughters, Kathy (Jim) Bucklin of Geneva and Carol (Michael) McCormack of Geneva; grandchildren, Jimmy, Joey and Jay Bucklin, Julia McCormack; brothers, Joseph (Mary) Natelli of Geneva and Vincent Natelli of Geneva; special friends, Joe and Arlene Jacobs of Geneva; sister-in-law Linda Wilson Flamm, several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased besides her parents by a sister-in-law, Honor “Mickey” Natelli.
