Geneva; Mary E. Willis, age 71 of 31 Grove St. passed away peacefully on Thursday September 11, 2014 the Geneva Living Center North.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday (Sept.16) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Sept. 17) at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Thomas P. Mull will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Nester Hose Company 207 Genesee St. Geneva, NY 14456

Mary was born on September 22, 1942 in Geneva. She was a graduate of Geneva High School and Finger Lakes Community College. Mary had worked at the Church Home in Geneva for many years and retired from the VA Medical Center in Canandaigua as a Nurses Aid. She loved youth football and never missed one of her children’s or grandchildren’s games both Junior Football and High School Football.
She is survived by her husband Charles; sons, James (Larissa) Willis of Geneva and Shawn (Rita) Willis of Bonita, CA; grandchildren. Justin, Kristopher and Shannon Willis.

Mary was predeceased by her mother Dorothy Travis Bornemann and a brother Robert Bornemann.
