GENEVA- Mary Ann “Rose” Pane, age 75, of Geneva passed away unexpectedly from a brief illness surrounded by her family on Wednesday November 7, 2018 at Geneva General Hospital.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday (Nov. 9) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (Nov. 10) with prayers at 11:30 am at the funeral home and a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm at St. Stephens Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph 150 French Road Rochester, NY 14618

Mary Ann was born on April 10, 1943 in Rochester the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Hickey Turturro. Over the years Mary Ann had worked at New York Telephone in Geneva, Sylvania in Seneca Falls, Goulds Pumps in Seneca Falls, McCurdy’s of Geneva and the Finger Lakes Community College Book Store in Canandaigua.

She was a supporting wife and mother of a coach and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, visiting & socializing at the Casinos and was an avid shopper.


She is survived by her husband, Frank T. Pane; children, Michael (Michele) Pane of Seneca Falls, Julie (Philip) Sindoni of Canandaigua and Frank Pane, Jr. of Canandaigua; grandchildren; Matthew and Mara Sindoni, Anthony and Roseann Pluretti; siblings, Joan Sweeney of Geneva, John (Maureen) Turturro of Victor, Kathryn (Dominick) Vedora of Geneva and Susan (John) Presutti of Arlington Heights, IL; several nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann was predeceased by a brother, Charles Turturro; brother-in-law, Wliiam R. Sweeney.
The family would like to thank the Intensive Care Unit at Geneva General Hospital for their care and support.
