Obituary for Kathryn M. Paone (Coluzzi)

GENEVA- Kathryn M. Paone, age 83, formerly of Geneva passed away unexpectedly on Saturday July 21, 2018 in Fredericksburg, VA.

There will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday (Aug. 2) at 9:30 a.m. at St. Francis deSales Roman Catholic Church. Flowers are welcomed at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Kathryn was born on April 24, 1935 in Geneva the daughter of the late Enrico and Elizabeth Cocola Coluzzi. She was a wonderful daughter, mother, granddaughter and sister who had a great love for the church and people. She was associated with many churches and church groups.

Kathryn was a fantastic folk artist, Interior decorator and pastry chef for the entire family.

She is survived by her daughters, Lucy Paone Lewis, Tina Briem and Josephine Bartell all of Syracuse; grandchildren, Bryan Nice, Jamie Essig, John Bartell and Frank Hayes; sister, Phyllis McNeil of Penn Yan; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kathryn was predeceased by son, Francis Paone; sisters, Joyce Coluzzi and Carmella Locke; brother, Jimmy Coluzzi.
