WATERLOO- Doreen A. "Dori" Maslyn, age 80 of Waterloo passed away on Friday June 22, 2018 at the Geneva Living Center North.

There will be no prior calling hours. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (June 27) at 1:00 p.m. at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Dori was born on June 9, 1938 in Waterloo the daughter of the late Robert Lutz and Twyla Swetman Bickle. She was a life resident of the Waterloo area and retired after many years as a Night Supervisor with the ARC in Waterloo.

Dori was a devoted mother, grandmother & great-grandmother who loved having a house full of kids. She was very crafty, painting and loved playing cards, board games and crossword puzzles. Dori also had a love for animals especially her beloved cat Sammy.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Francis “Fran”; children, Cheryl (Jon Gustafson) Maslyn of Seneca Falls, Brenda Maslyn of Seneca Falls, Kyle (Joanne) Maslyn of Seneca Falls, Scott (Cheryl Petersen) Maslyn of Phelps and John (Tina) Showalter of Geneva; grandchildren, Maryann, Karrie, Shawna, Kayla and Skye; great-grandchildren, Paige, Brianna, Kelsie, Kianna, Amonii, Twyla, Danika and Dakota; brothers, Gary Lutz of New Hampshire and Kevin (Sue) Bickle of South Carolina; sister, Lori (John) Pippin of South Carolina; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dori was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Robert Lutz, Jr. and Jim Hanstein
