GENEVA- Elizabeth “Libby” O’Leary, age 64 of Geneva passed away on Wednesday May 31, 2017 at Geneva General Hospital after a long illness.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday (June 5) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev Sarah West, Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Waterloo will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Elizabeth was born on June 8, 1952 in Clifton Forge, VA the daughter of the late Margaret Hubbard and worked at Kodak in Rochester for many years.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Waterloo, Geneva Senior Citizens, Woman’s Club of Geneva and the Red Hat Society.

Elizabeth enjoyed Arts & Crafts and was very much an outgoing woman who enjoyed playing cards and going on trips with the girls. She always had a smile for everyone and would chat with everyone she met.

She is survived by her longtime companion and care giver who was the love of her life, Lester Thompson of Geneva; her daughter, Kathleen O’Leary of Webster; her son, Robert (Michelle) O’Leary of Webster; grandchildren, Nicholas, Joseph, Isabella and Scott, Frederick and Robert; brother Chucky Arbogast of Florida; several nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her mother Margaret and her sister, Denise Arbogast.
