Condolence From: Joe Marino
Condolence: Every once in a while someone enters your life that has a profound impact on yours. As a young couple in 1978, my wife and I had the good fortune to purchase a house next to Richard “Dick” Knowlton and his wife, Norma. Through the next 20 years, we were neighbors, Mr. Knowlton became a surrogate “Uncle” to our family. Any time we had a small problem, whether it be electrical, plumbing or whatever, he was always there to fix it. As our family grew, Mr. Knowlton watched as our boys grew. Never a day went by when some type of ball found its way into his backyard. Never a cross word, always with a smile, he watched our sons grow. He taught me what it meant to be a good neighbor a good friend and most important a better person. Thank you Mr. Knowlton. We will miss you but never forget you.

Condolence From: The Lynd Family
Condolence: My sister and I were vey sad to learn of your father's passing. Your Dad and his sidekick, Brownie were always hunting or out to lend a helping hand to our parents home, Charles (Chick) and Viola Lynd who lived on Lerch Road for many years.
His kindness towards his family and friends was never ending. We will forever remember his generosity towards our parents. Pass on his wonderful gift of giving to others as Dick was certainly a special man.
Our thoughts and prayers are extended to your entire family.
Sincerely,

Peggy (Lynd) Caplan

Condolence: Dear Kate and Nancy and family,

We feel so blessed to have known Blackie and to have had his friendship these past years. Along with that the blessing to have been able to enjoy him and his family.

There are no words to express the sadness in our hearts for not only your loss but also ours. He truly was a great man that will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Our Sunday morning coffee time with him every week is going to be very missed.

There was only one true "Blackie" and we feel privileged to have known him.

Our love to all of you.
