Geneva; Wilson W. “Bill” Turnbull, age 62 of Turnbull Road passed away on Wednesday December 30, 2015.

Family and friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday (Jan. 3) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will be held Monday (Jan. 4) at 11:00 a.m. at Seneca Presbyterian Church 4414 Number Nine Road Stanley, NY 14561. The Rev. Amy Loving Austin, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Seneca Number 9 Cemetery.

Wilson was born on August 21, 1953 in Geneva the son of W. Reed and Jean Williams Turnbull. He was a lifelong farmer working with his Dad on the family farm and was a member of the Hall Fire Department. Bill was very involved in all of his children’s activities and since the birth of his granddaughter has been a dedicated Papa.

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Christine Maher Turnbull; children, Kevin (Ally) Turnbull of Hall and Marissa (Neal Bournique) Turnbull of Sacramento, CA; granddaughter, Nola Turnbull; mother, Jean Turnbull of Hall; sisters, Margaret (Al) Wilmott of Barre, VT, Nancy Turnbull of Washington DC, Susan (Russ) Wolpert of Fort Wayne, IN; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Lorraine Maher of Geneva; brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, Sharon (Charlie) Evangelista of Geneva, James (Traci) Maher of Hollywood, FL, William P. (Patricia) Maher of Geneva, Richard T. (Paula) Maher of Geneva; several nieces and nephews.

Bill was predeceased by a daughter, Krista Lorraine Turnbull and his father, W. Reed Turnbull.
