Donna Lee DeWitt

Geneva; Donna Lee DeWitt, age 77 formerly of Geneva passed away on Thursday August 6, 2015 at Highland Hospital in Rochester.

Family and friends may call from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday (Aug. 14) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High St. Geneva. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday (Aug.15) at 9:30 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be on Monday (Aug.17) at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Donna was born on January 16, 1938 in Elmira. She has been a life resident of Geneva and retired after many years as a Nurse at Geneva General Hospital. Donna was a member of St. Stephen’s Church, a devoted loving mother and a fantastic neighborhood mom.

She is survived by her daughters, Valerie (Thomas) Curtis of Auburn, Patricia Schroeder of Clearwater, FL and Teresa Font of Victor; grandchildren, Corina, D.J., Jess, Sarah, Michael Patrick, Shelly and Brad; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Donna was predeceased by her parents, Don and Donna Smith; husband, Patrick DeWitt; daughter, Marcy DeWitt-Webb; brother, John Mattison; son-in-laws, Stephen Font and Michael Schroeder.
