Linda Hefferon Rowles
Phelps; Linda Hefferon Rowles, age 57 of Phelps, passed away on Friday July 31, 2015 in Strong Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery. There will be no prior calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wilmot Cancer Institute, University of Rochester Medical Center 601 Elmwood Avenue, Box 704 Rochester, NY 14642 or a charity of one’s choosing.
Linda was born on March 21, 1958 in Geneva, the daughter of Robert and Shirley Hefferon. She was a 1976 graduate of Midlakes High School and was previously employed by Sarah Coventry in Newark, NY; the City of Winter Park, FL; and John Crane in Seneca Falls, NY.
Linda is survived by her two daughters, Kimberly and Rebecca Rowles of Phelps; parents Robert and Shirley Hefferon of Geneva; sister Debra (Michael) DeRaddo of Geneva; nephews Michael and Kevin DeRaddo of Geneva, and her beloved dog, Buddy.
