Geneva; Barbara A. (Woznick) Walters, age 77 of Geneva passed away on Friday May 22, 2015 while living in Florida with her son and family.

There will be no prior calling hours. A church service will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church 18 Snell Rd. Geneva on Wednesday (June 3) at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Letta Lippa will officiate. Burial will follow immediately after the service in Brookside Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Lochland School 1065 Lochland Road Geneva, NY 14456.

Barbara was born in Hicksville, Long Island, NY and when her family moved to Geneva, she settled here. She graduated from Geneva High School in 1956 and married the love of her life, James Walters and were married for 49 years until his death in 2006.

She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Sister enjoying cooking and baking for her family. She was actively involved in the Appleknockers with her children. She worked in her husband’s Tax Accountant office and owned and operated Just Kids Clothing Store enjoying all her customers over the years.

Survivors include her son Mark (Chungsoon) Walters of Melbourne, FL; daughters, Kim Blackburn of Geneva and Kathaleen Walters of Geneva; grandchildren, Krysten, James (Kristina), Candace and Marybeth Walters, Heather (Dan) Day, Chad Blackburn and Ashley Blackburn; great-grandchildren, Zoey, Mason and Rosslyn; brothers, John (Barbara) Woznick, Frank Woznick; sisters, Gerri (Mike) Godkin, Mary Higgins; sister-in-law, Helen Woznick all of Geneva; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband James she was predeceased by her parents Frank and Marcella Woznick; brother, Ken Woznick; brother-in-law, Robert Higgins; sister-in-law, Judy Woznick.
