Hazel Marie English
Geneva; Hazel Marie English of 150 Lyceum St. passed away peacefully on Mother’s Day surrounded by her devoted husband Edward, her sons and daughter-in-laws. She was 88 years of age.

There will be no prior calling hours. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Marie was born in Philadelphia and raised in Buffalo, NY before moving to Auburn where she met her husband Ed. They celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary in January of 2014. They enjoyed many years of retirement in Lakeland, Florida before returning to their home town area. Marie’s proudest accomplishment were her five sons.

She is survived by her husband, Edward O. Sr.; her sons, Edward English Jr. (Sue) of Phelps, Donald English of Lakeland, FL, Paul English (Cindy) of Geneva, Dave English (Connie) of Vernon, CT and Rick English (Laura) of Shortsville; 6 grandchildren, Brian, Kelly, Aaron, Elizabeth, Sheila and Kristen and 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Collea, Gert McCall and Ann Warobick (Joe) and many nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to the Doctors and compassionate nursing staff on ICU at Geneva General.
