Geneva; Mabel P. Goodall, age 102 of Geneva passed away on Wednesday April 16, 2014 at Geneva General Hospital.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday (April 21) at the Zion Lutheran Church, 18 Snell Road Geneva. Funeral services will follow calling hours at 1:00 p.m. in the Church. Vicar Josiah R. Armstrong will officiate. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church, 18 Snell Rd. Geneva, NY 14456
Mabel was born on July 10, 1911 in Clyde the daughter of the late Chris and Anna Praefke Malchoff. She retired after many years as the Border City Water District Collector. Mabel was a lifelong member of the Zion Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Dorcas Society and the Arts & Crafts Group. She also was a member of the Geneva Woman’s Club and the Border City Fire Company Auxillary. She always enjoyed holiday dinners at her house with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Robert) Hunt of Gorham; six grandchildren, Jeffrey (Gale) Hunt of Stanley, Alan (Mary Ellen) Hunt of Maryland, Dennis (Lisa) Hunt of Virginia, Christopher (Amanda) Goodall of Maryland, Nicole (Paul) MacManus of New Jersey and Kerri (Mike) Ciskowski of New Jersey; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Louise Goodall of New Jersey; several nieces and nephews.
Mabel was predeceased by her husband John S. Goodall who died in 1989; son, Robert Goodall; sister, Dorothy Laude
