Mary M. Zeoli

Geneva; Mary M. Zeoli, age 85 of N. Genesee St. passed away on Sunday September 22, 2013 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

There will be no prior calling hours. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Sept.25) with prayers at 11:00 a.m. at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. at St. Francis deSales Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Geneva Living Center North 1st Floor.

Mary was born in Geneva on June 18, 1928 the daughter of the late Rocco and Antonia Furfurao Iannopollo. Mary was a life resident of Geneva. She owned and operated Mary’s Diner in Downtown Geneva for many years and after was involved with the Red Brick Inn on Main St. for several years.
Mary was a charter member of the Sons of Italy GAIL lodge 2397A and a member of St. Francis deSales Church.

She is survived by her three sons, James (Brenda) Zeoli of Binghamton, Thomas Zeoli of Geneva and Samuel (Tibby) Zeoli of Henderson, NV; grandchildren, Anthony, Nicholas (Ashley), Matthew, Jeffrey, Michael Zeoli and Christopher Smith; sister, Pauline Davoli of Geneva; several nieces and nephews; special nieces, Joanne Welch and Caroline Venuti; special friend, Ann Marie Borsa.

Mary was predeceased by her husband, Sebastian “Sam” Zeoli; brothers, Cosmo and Frank “Cheech” Iannopollo; sister, Theresa Avino and sisters-in-laws & brothers-in-laws.
