Geneva - William C. Fuller, 71 of Geneva, passed away Thursday April 4, 2013 at Geneva General Hospital.

Family and friends may call from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday (April 11) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High Street, Geneva. Members of the Nester Hose Company will meet at the funeral home at 6:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday (April 12) at Zion Lutheran Church, 18 Snell Road, Geneva. Vicar Nancy Knol will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Nester Hose Company, 207 Genesee Street, Geneva, New York 14456; Hydrant Hose Company, 79 Geneva Street, Geneva, New York 14456; or Zion Lutheran Church, 18 Snell Road, Geneva, New York 14456.

Bill was born on June 9, 1941 in Geneva. He was a graduate of Geneva High School, Freeman Business School and Rochester Institute of Technology. He was a CPA and owned his own firm for over 30 years. He was well known for his brilliant accounting expertise and consulting throughout the Finger Lakes area.

Bill was active with the Boy Scouts of America for many years, charter member of the Finger Lakes Ducks Unlimited, life member of the Nester Hose Company, Honorary member of the Hydrant Hose Company, Treasurer of the Geneva Firematics Committee, and served on the Scholarship Board of Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Bill was also an active member of Zion Lutheran Church, Treasurer of the Board of Trustees of the Geneva Public Library and Chief Financial Officer for the Foundation for the Geneva Public Library.
Bill loved boating, fishing, traveling and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was constantly encouraging them to strive for academic excellence and understand the value of education. He was often seen cruising through the streets of Geneva in his little red Corvette.

Bill is survived by his wife, Linnea; children, William T. (Robin) Fuller of Hampstead, NC, Tammy (Mike) Blair of Oswego, Tracy (Tom) Heutsche of Erie, PA and Robert (Monique) Doty of Penfield, NY; grandchildren, Ashley, Nichole, Zachary, Hannah, Delilah, Sullivan, Aiden and Oliver; great-grandson, Rylee; brother, Woodrow “Steve” (Kathy Rothfuss) Fuller of Geneva; a special aunt, Fran Kearns of Clifton Springs, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Bill was predeceased by his parents, the late Woodrow and Margaret Tracey Fuller.
