Loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend
Geneva, Nancy A. Justino, 70 of 391 W. High St. passed away Wednesday January 26, 2011 at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday (Jan 31) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (Feb 1) at 9:00 a.m. with prayers at the funeral home and a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to a Humane Society.
Nancy was born on October 15, 1940 in Canandaigua the daughter of the late Edwin and Florence Joslyn Stockwell. She graduated from Geneva High School and had been employed with Stern’s Nursery, American Can Company, Henry Oldsmobile-Cadillac and Daniel’s Automotive. Nancy was a member of St. Stephen’s Church, St. Anthony’s Society, St. Joseph’s Day Committe and Winnek post 396 American Legion Auxiliary. She was very active in the Bowling League at Sunset and volunteered at the American Legion for the Troops overseas.
She is survived by; 2 daughters, Dana (Timothy Higgins) Justino of Geneva and Melissa (Michael) Sayers of Newark; 4 granddaughters, Taylor, Ashley, Morgan and Korrie; sister, Carol Aruck of Canandaigua; sister-in-law, Lynn Stockwell of Canandaigua; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and her beloved dog, R.J.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Justino; brother, Edwin “Bruce” Stockwell and brother-in-law, Anthony Aruck
