GENEVA- Daniel Burgos-Martinez, age 36 of Geneva passed away on Tuesday May 8, 2018 at Geneva General Hospital.
Family and friends may call on Saturday (May 12) from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will follow calling hours at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Thomas P. Mull will officiate. Burial will be in Puerto Rico.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for a fund being established for the children of Danny.
Danny was born on March 14, 1982 in Humacao Puerto Rico the son of Herminio Burgos and Myrna Martinez.
Danny was a devoted father working at Kanpak in Penn Yan and was an avid Cleveland Cavaliers and NY Yankees fan.
He is survived by his companion Brittany Ricks; children, Daniel Burgos, Jr. and Danalys Burgos of Geneva; mother, Myrna Martinez of Reading, PA; father, Herminio Burgos of Dansville, NY; siblings, Jessica Burgos of Florida, Maria (Angel Caceres) Pou-Martinez of Mt. Morris, NY, Alex Garcia of Florida; grandmother, Edith Casillas of Puerto Rico; aunts, Alida Martinez of Puerto Rico, Damaris Martinez of Puerto Rico; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
