Donna R. Hirons
GENEVA- Donna R. Hirons, 77, of Geneva, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Villages Hospital in Florida.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 28, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. The Rev. Thomas P. Mull will officiate. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Peace Parish or the charity of one’s choice.
Donna was born on March 28th, 1940 in Geneva to Catherine and Frank Roberts. She was a lifelong resident of Geneva. Donna graduated from DeSales High School and Freeman Business School. Donna retired from the Geneva City School district as a school secretary.
Donna enjoyed traveling with friends, knitting, reading and spending time with her grandchildren, especially watching them play sports.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, William, children, Kelly (Jeffery) Sobus, William Hirons, and Andrew (Holly) Hirons; grandchildren, Tiffany Hirons, Patrick, Olivia, and Grace Sobus, and Gabriella Hirons, and great-grandchild, Kaiden Drucker.
