Richard Paul Christensen

GENEVA- Richard Paul Christensen, age 50, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017, following a long illness.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday (Dec.4) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (Dec.5) at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bellona Cemetery
Richard was a graduate of Geneva High School and an avid sports fan. He played for minor, major and Bath Ruth teams in Geneva Little League, High School and a Men’s League.
He had been an employee of the Geneva Penny Saver for several years before relocating to Orlando, Florida to continue his house remodeling career and excelled as a finish carpenter.
He is survived by his wife Lorrie Christensen; his 10 year old son Nicholas Christensen; his mother-in-law Donna Fillingham; his mother Jean Carril and brother Brett Christensen of Orlando, FL; his father H. Paul Christensen and Aunt Carol Sue Preston of Geneva, a sister Wendy Christensen along with nieces Jenna and Jackie, nephew Brandon of Canandaigua and nephew Mark Preston of Penn Yan.
