GENEVA- Paola Michelle Diaz-Carrasquillo, age 8 of Geneva passed away on Monday September 25, 2017 at Golisano Children’s Hospital in Rochester.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on (to be announced) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Paola was born on November 12, 2008 in Humacao, Puerto Rico the daughter of Erickwell Diaz and Joanny Carrasquillo. She attended Perkins Elementary School in Newark, enjoying school and her teachers. Paola was always a happy little girl who loved music and her family very much.

Paola is survived by her parents, Erickwell Diaz and Joanny Carrasquillo; brothers, Erick and Carlos Diaz; paternal grandparents, Sonia Morales and Carlos Diaz; maternal grandparents, Ana Nazario-Cruz and Vicente Carrasquillo; aunts and uncles, Josue Diaz, Carlos Diaz, Wanda Diaz, Jackeline Otero, Willie Otero, Sandra Otero, Wanda Otero, Rosaline Otero, Elizabeth Carrasquillo, Nancy Carrasquillo, Vicente Carrasquillo, Luis Otero, Ivellisse Carrasquillo and Mary Carrasquillo; numerous cousins.
