Clifton Springs; Terence P. McCormick, age 65 of Clifton Springs passed away unexpectedly on Sunday January 24, 2016 at home.
Family and friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday (Jan. 30) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva.
Terry was born in Bronx, NY on March 14, 1950 the son of the late John J. and Blanche Votava McCormick. He served in the US Marines doing three tours in Vietnam and joined the New York State Police as a Trooper in 1980. After graduating from the State Police Academy Terry was assigned to Troop E Canandaigua Barracks. He later was promoted to Investigator with the BCI and had worked on the Drug Task Force in NYC and retired in 1993 from the BCI in Troop E in Canandaigua.
Terry is survived by his brother, John McCormick of Virginia; his sisters, Diane Mackie of Rhode Island, Denise Atkins of North Carolina and Priscilla Sampson of Vermont.
