Nancy May Pollot

Geneva; Nancy May Pollot, age 81 of Lyceum Heights passed away on Monday January 18, 2016 at the Geneva Living Center South.
There will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday (Jan 23) at 12:00 p.m. at St. Francis deSales Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Rest Haven Cemetery in Phelps.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Ontario County Humane Society.

Nancy was born on May 21, 1934 in Shamokin, PA the daughter of the late Nelson and Maude Snyder Williams.
Nancy started her career as a Nurses Aid at Clifton Springs Hospital and later Ontario County Public Health. She spent 32 years as a private duty Nurses Aid helping many people throughput the Geneva area and was a member of St. Francis deSales Church.

In 2014 the Finger Lakes Times did an article on her with the heading Miracle Patient. Nancy’s cardiologist, Dr. Tim Malins stated she was his miracle patient who is only the fourth person worldwide known to have survived to age 80 with an untreated heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot.

She is survived by her children, Betty Jo (John) Bourne of Hattiesburg, MS, Robert (Gina) Pollot of Rochester, Nancy (Bill) Boser of Penn Yan, Michael (Sue) Cunningham of Waterloo; grandchildren, Michael, Timothy and Joseph Cunningham; Christina Pollot, Tiffany Rowe, Casey Bourne and Leah Pollot.

Nancy was predeceased by her husbands, Joseph Cunningham and Robert Charles Pollot; grandson, Robert Bourne.
