Robert E. Collins, Sr.

Waterloo; Robert E. Collins, Sr. age 87 of Wagner St. passed away on Monday October 5, 2015 at Geneva General Hospital.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 8) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will be held on Friday (Oct. 9) at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Border City Fire Department/ Serven Fire Company.

Robert was born on July 29, 1928 in Canandaigua the son of the late Harry D. and Florence Brown Collins.
He served in the US Marines during WWII and was a member of the Waterloo American Legion Post 435. Robert retired after many years doing Auto Body and Mechanic work while also working in Security throughout the area.

He is survived by his children, Donna M. Rose of Seneca Falls, Robert E. Collins, Jr. of Marietta, OH, Bruce E. Collins of Germany, Debbie Woodworth of Flint, MI, Al Collins of Las Vegas, NV and Timothy Collins of Waterloo; 17 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Marion Johnston of Waterloo; several nieces and nephews.

Robert was predeceased by his wife Mary Collins; son, Richard Collins.
