Geneva; June L. Jensen, age 85 formerly of Geneva and Newlanders Cove passed away on Wednesday September 9, 2015 at the Ontario Center in Hopewell.
Family and friends may call from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday (September 14) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will be held Tuesday (September 15) at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Phil Tennies will officiate. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery.

June was born on October 25, 1929 in Phelps the daughter of the late Albert and Bertha Redder Carson and went to school at McGee Corners. She met her future husband, Charles Jensen at square dancing. June was a devoted home maker and loving mother raising her 3 daughter’s. She and Charles were avid fisherman who enjoyed many a days of fishing in the Canandaigua Lake Trout Derby. June set the record for the largest Lake Trout which she still holds for the derby.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, Linda (Donald) Dillman of Victor, Sandra (Richard) Lovejoy of Naples and Judy Jensen of Shortsville; 6 grandchildren, Dawn, Denise, Kimberly, Charles, Christopher and Mandy; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 step great-grandchild; 1 great-great-granddaughter; 2 step great-great-grandchildren; sister, Sarah Ada Gade; brother, Frederick Carson; several nieces and nephews.
