Geneva; Josephine K. Caito, age 96 of Geneva passed away peacefully on Saturday June 13, 2015.

Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday (June 17) at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will be held Thursday (June18) with prayers at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home and a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to a charity of your choice.

Josephine was born on June 26, 1918 in Geneva the daughter of the late Francis and Marina Vianessi Venuti. She was a life resident of Geneva who was devoted to her family and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Josephine was a local Business Owner and Realtor and was a past President of the NYS Federation of Republican Women. Josephine and her husband, Patrick, built their family home soon after they were married in 1941. They raised their 5 children and lived out their entire lives in their Nursery Avenue home.

She is survived by her children; Patricia (Mike) McLaughlin of Clarence Center, Michael (Denise) Caito of Boynton Beach, FL, Frank (Karen Visco) Caito of Geneva, Marina (Rick) Randall of Rochester and Patrick (Pam) Caito of Chicago; grandchildren, Stephanie (Patrick) Milligan, Michael (Nina) Spano, Tricia (Marc) Rosenthal, Matthew (Laura) Randall, Christopher (Kelley) Randall, Kara (Jonathan) Nettnin and Michael Caito; great-grandchildren, Eric and Ryan Webb, Alyssa Milligan, Noah, Adam and Ava Rosenthal, Mia and Lana Spano, Brady and Dylan Randall, Cole and Owen Randall, Ryan and Justin Nettnin; great-great-grandson, Ethan Webb; brother, Francis Venuti of Geneva; several nieces and nephews.

Josephine was predeceased by her husband Patrick M. Caito; son-in-law, Mario Spano; grandson, David Caito; brothers, Joseph and Samuel Venuti; sisters, Antoinette Venuti and Mary Emmi.
