Loving husband, father and grandfather

Waterloo; Donald C. Robson, 78 of Serven Rd. passed away on Thursday June 20, 2013 at home after a brief illness.

There will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday (June 24) at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis deSales Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Beverly Animal Shelter or the Hospice of Wayne and Seneca Counties.

Don was born on March 17, 1935 in Geneva the son of the late Charles and Emma Nelson Robson. He graduated from Geneva High School in 1953 and entered the service and served in the US Marines from 1953 until 1956. Don worked for many years for his father at Robson’s Garage before starting his own business, Robson’s Snowmobile. He then owned and operated Robson’s Body Shop for 35 years along with his wife and son.
Don enjoyed bowling for many years but his passion was his garden, lawn and home.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sandra; son, Chris (Lori) Robson; daughter, Casey (Hank Whaley) Robson; grandchildren, Heather (Steven) Garafalo, Donald Duffy, Allissa (David) Ansuini, Christina Duffy and James Duffy; great-grandchildren, Joseph Arena, Synia Duffy, Michael Ansuini, Rosemary Garafalo, Riley Duffy and Emma Ansuini; sister, Marguerite Fratangelo; sister-in-law, Agnes Robson; several nieces and nephews

Don was predeceased by his brother, Howard Robson; brother-in-law, Donald Fratangelo.
