Susan Willower Urbano
Geneva; Susan Willower Urbano 66 of Maple St. passed away Monday (Dec 24, 2012) at home.
Family and friends may call on Friday (Dec.28) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home 45 High St. Geneva. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Very Rev. James Adams will officiate. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Geneva Free Library, The American Red Cross, or consider a blood donation in her honor.
Susan was born on July 22, 1946 in Geneva the daughter of the late William J. and Elizabeth Hewson Willower. She graduated from Marion S. Whalen School of Nursing and also attended Brockport. Susan worked at Happiness House and then Geneva General Hospital for 22 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Delux Quilters, Lake to Lake Quilters and a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her husband Frank Urbano of Geneva, her children; Jennifer Abbott of Geneva, Benjamin ( Mika) Abbott and their children Quintin and Mia of Virginia, Paul J. Urbano and his children; Kalyn, Megan and Frank of Alaska, Jill (Christopher LaRose) Urbano Burns and her children; Brandon and Abigail of NC, and Mark (Katherine) Urbano and their child Leonardo of NC. 2 brothers, William Willower of Romulus and Robert Willower of Albany. Sister; Elaine (Olaf) Lieberg of Geneva. Several nieces and nephews.
